The book launch and signing at Immaculata was a beautiful reminder that the world is full of people who care.

I’ve attached some photos from the event below. Thank you for taking the time out of your day to spend a few hours in compassionate dialogue about the domestic sex trafficking of minors.

How can a YA novel about coercive control help?

Mouth Shut Head Down reveals the red flags in relationships that become normalized, which is the foundation of abuse.

Mouth Shut Head Down shows the worst and the best of our American families—those we are born into and those we form along the way.

Mouth Shut Head Down explores our human right to make our own decisions as we learn, grow, and discover who God created us to be.

Mouth Shut Head Down portrays how resilience is born out of fragility—how, in the dark, when we are cold, lonely, and scared, we can get up and keep walking.

But the story goes nowhere unless it’s shared. So as Mouth Shut Head Down is launched into the world, I hope you will share it.

Together, we can prevent the domestic sex trafficking of minors.
